MUMMIFIED, TOOTHLESS LETTERMAN EXEMPLIFIES SHALLOW, LIBERAL CONTEMPT FOR DECENCY

Has-been late-night grumbler and insecure liberal "comedian" David Letterman continues to reveal his strange obsession with Sarah Palin via contemptible jokes. Palin, after serving her nation and ticket with astonishing dedication for over nine weeks, has returned to the governor's chair of Alaska, where she continues to make decisions that impact people's lives and futures for the better.

Meanwhile, Letterman sits in his studio, a sour, whiny gasbag, long past whatever prime he once enjoyed...and gossips with botox-addicts for a living.

A mealy-mouthed neurotic like Letterman perfectly exemplifies the empty, soulless Left in Hollywood (and elsewhere). Liberals fear and despise Palin because the reptilian parts of their addled brains recognize a fullness in her character that is utterly missing from their own lives. Liberals can't stand to be reminded that they are--by choice--hollow shells of human detritus. They can't abide it when confronted with the bracing reality that getting regular massage-work does not make them "meaningful" persons.

For Letterman and liberals in general, illusion and artifice are the only things that feed the soul, which is exactly why they are ever-hungry and unfulfilled! When they sense the spark of conviction and virtue in Palin's life, it only reminds them of their own harrowing deficiencies.

Thus, these dippy fools channel their usual self-loathing into hatred toward Palin, which is really a hatred for what she represents, i.e. ALL of us who are genuinely conservative, all of us who appreciate virtue, even if we fail to measure-up a great deal of the time. There's no question about it: Palin is to the Left what sunlight is to a vampire.

Alas, if only her effect on liberals actually resulted in little piles of dust.

The left hates anyone who's life example forces them to examine themselves.

Let's see: Outback beauty queen becomes mayor of one-horse town, then betrays her own friends and mentors to win the Governorship of a state with a smaller population than Allegheny County, PA...which she promptly turns into a socialist fiefdom living on oil company handouts.

Plus, she's a babbling idiot and a Christian bigot.

Dave's got this about right. She's not a "life example" -- she's a born punchline.

Go Dave!

I don't think anyone could say it better. Sarah has struck a nerve and the libs have reacted violently.

The future is impossible to predict, and so is Sarah's.

Personally, I'm in this life for the long term. That being said, I'd really like to see some conservative candidates stick to their convictions as they run for office.

Surveys show that a majority of Americans are conservative. Some don't, or won't admit it. If true conservative values are knocked down in an election, then we'll at least know where we stand, unlike having a RINO lose an election, and wondering what would have been.

Quite correct, Steve. Conservatives are people who, when faced with challenges to their everyday realities, respond in genuine ways. In other words, they work. They solve. They weigh issues based upon reason and linear thinking (even if it's simple thinking--nothing wrong with being "uncomplicated"), and then they ACT.

Liberals merely "emote." They drift aimlessly through life on the basis of "feelings" and reactionary emotions, willfully insecure in their own being, which is the most childish and ignorant manner in which to behave.

This is why they are easily led, why they are ephemeral and hollow.

We have seen so many people in America, people who might normally be conservative, a bit lost these days. For one thing, there is a galling dearth of true wisdom in the nation right now--at least in terms of the wisdom that gets any press coverage. And believe me: much of that wisdom comes from the people living and working in our rural areas. These are the people currently being hated by liberals in a flood of elitist venom that is much, much worse than racism or sexism.

Freedom is a privilege, not an immediate right. Conservatives are the ones who, because of their very nature, have most consistently worked to maintain freedom's status as a privilege that can be considered a "right" only as long as people are willing to fight for it.

Palin represents this faction, and she is unashamed of her family, her background, her town, her state, her nation, or her values...and liberals can't stand such character. So they lie and misconstrue. That's the noly weapon they have. Lies. Their incessant whining and their bile certainly can't hurt us. We know better.

To win the day, conservatives need only to stick to their principles and fight for them, if necessary. Those principles are: smaller federal government; less taxation; 2nd Amendment preservation; religious freedom that values and defends the dignity and sanctity of life.

Simple.
